In order to evenly emit light from the surface of the light guide sheet, a series of microstructures are designed on the bottom of the light guide sheet, commonly known as dot structures. These dots are like tiny mirrors. When light propagates through the light guide sheet and encounters the dots, some of the light will be reflected, changing the direction of propagation and exiting the surface of the light guide sheet. The distribution density, size, and shape of the network points are not arbitrarily set, but are precisely calculated and designed. Near the light source, the density and size of the dots are small because the light intensity is high, and fewer dots can reflect an appropriate amount of light onto the surface; Away from the light source, the density and size of the dots gradually increase to enhance their ability to reflect light and ensure uniform light output on the entire surface of the light guide sheet.
In addition, surface treatment processes also play an important role in achieving uniform light guidance. The surface of the light guide sheet will be frosted or matte treated, which can scatter light when it exits the surface. Scattering disperses the concentrated light, avoiding situations where it is too bright or too dark locally, further enhancing the uniformity of light. At the same time, surface treatment can also reduce glare caused by light reflection and improve visual effects.
