The brightly lit environment has become an important external image of a city. Acrylic Light Guid Panel, a brand new optical grade material, is quietly changing the landscape of urban night sky and penetrating into various environmental fields.

A light guide panel is made of optical grade acrylic sheet, and then uses high-tech materials with extremely high refractive index and no light absorption to print light guide points on the bottom of the optical grade acrylic sheet using laser engraving, V-shaped cross grid engraving, and UV screen printing technology. By using optical grade acrylic sheet to absorb the light emitted from the lamp and stop on the surface of the optical grade acrylic sheet, when the light reaches each light guide point, the reflected light will diffuse to various angles, and then break the reflection conditions and be emitted from the front of the light guide panel. By using light guide points of various densities and sizes, the light guide panel can emit light uniformly.

The design principle of the light guide panel originates from the LCD display screen of laptops, which is a high-tech product that converts line light sources into surface light sources. Optical grade acrylic is used as the substrate, and LCD display screen and laptop backlight module technology are applied. Through the high light conductivity of the light guide point, the computer calculates the light guide point to refract the light from the light guide panel into a uniform light state of the surface light source and manufacture the shape. It has distinct characteristics such as ultra-thin, ultra bright, uniform light guidance, energy saving, environmental protection, no dark areas, durability, not easy to yellowing, and simple and fast installation and maintenance.

1. It can be cut into any desired size or assembled for use, with simple craftsmanship and easy production;

2. Long lifespan: Can be used normally indoors for more than 8 years, safe and environmentally friendly, durable and reliable, suitable for both indoor and outdoor use;

3. High luminous efficiency and low power consumption;

4. It can be made into irregular shapes such as circles, ellipses, arcs, triangles, etc;

6. Any light source, including point and line light sources, can be used for surface light source conversion. Light sources include LEDCCFL (cold cathode fluorescent tube), fluorescent tubes, etc.

Classification of Light Guide panels:

Flat panel by shape: The light guide panel appears rectangular when viewed from the light entrance.  Wedge shaped panel: also known as inclined panel, it appears as a wedge-shaped (triangular) shape with one side thick and the other thin when viewed from the light entrance.

Dot printing method: After completing the shape processing of the light guide panel, the dots are printed on the reflective surface by printing, which is divided into two types: IR and UV.   Non printing: The dots are directly formed on the reflective surface during the formation of the light guide panel. It is further divided into chemical etching, precision mechanical etching (V-cut), photolithography (Stamper), and internal diffusion.

According to the input side input type: place the luminous body (lamp tube or LED) on the side of the light guide panel.   Direct type: Place the luminous body (lamp tube or LED) under the light guide panel.

Injection molding: Optical grade PMMA particles are injected into the mold at high temperature and high pressure using an injection molding machine for cooling and forming.   Cutting and shaping: The optical grade PMMA raw board is processed through a cutting process to complete the finished product.
