How do we identify the quality of PC hollow sheets?

Nowadays, customers are very picky and want cheap goods with good quality. Although everyone knows that you get what you pay for, they still care more about cost-effectiveness. However, many people are greedy for a small discount, and the quality of the goods they buy is far from what they want. Some customers even start using the goods very well, but soon turn yellow and have a short service life. In fact, the main reason is that many customers do not truly distinguish the quality of the product.

How do we identify the quality of PC hollow sheets?

Step 1: When we choose a PC hollow sheets, we first need to understand the production materials used in PC board manufacturing.

The raw materials for producing PC hollow sheets should be new materials, but now some domestic pc hollow sheets production enterprises will add some old materials to the new materials in order to save production costs, and some enterprises even completely use old materials. Due to the high content of impurities and dust in the old material, the transparency is low. Step 3: How to identify UV layer and anti fog layer?

Ultraviolet radiation is a key factor causing aging of sheets, so more and more producers are choosing to co extrude UV resistant layer (UV layer) hollow sheets. In response to the phenomenon of some products on the market that do not add any UV materials but impersonate co extruded UV layer hollow sheets. Here's a little trick to identifying: take a small piece of a hollow sheets, place it horizontally, and observe from the cross-section whether there is a surface that appears blue. If there is, it indicates that there is a UV layer co extruded. If there is no blue (or other) color, it indicates that the sheets may not have a co extruded UV layer.

With the increasing development of hollow sheets technology, anti fog droplet hollow sheets have also emerged in recent years. The method to distinguish their quality is very simple. Simply put a cup of hot water under the sheets. If condensed water forms fog droplets or water droplets on the surface of the sheets,  it indicates that its anti fog droplet effect is poor.

Step 4: We should be careful not to be deceived by the false impression of quality assurance.

With the increasingly fierce market competition in the hollow sheets industry, many manufacturers have put on the sign of "quality assurance", and many users relax their vigilance and purchase products when they see "quality assurance". To identify a sheets, one should consider its appearance, strength, and also have a price standard in mind. As the saying goes, you get what you pay for. Blindly lowering the prices of suppliers will only encourage unscrupulous manufacturers to switch raw materials in order to maintain their profits, while also harming the interests of buyers.

Step 5: We cannot neglect during installation and construction.

Choosing high-quality pc hollow sheets is only the crucial first step, and the installation and construction of pc hollow sheets are also very important. Firstly, it is necessary to do a good job of edge sealing. If the edge sealing is poor, it is not only easy to cause dust, water vapor, and evergreen moss to enter the pores of the hollow sheets, thereby reducing its transmittance, but also easy to increase the fluidity of the air, affecting the insulation effect of the greenhouse. When drilling holes, attention should be paid to the force and verticality of the holes. If the force is too strong or the nails are too crooked, it is easy for water to enter the gaps between the hollow sheets.

Finally, rubber pads also play a huge role in installation. It is recommended to use EPDM rubber pads, which have the characteristics of aging resistance and corrosion resistance. Poor quality rubber pads can corrode the pc hollow sheets, causing yellowing and cracking in some areas, affecting the effectiveness of use.
