Because the plasticity of PC solid sheets is very strong, it is used in many occasions, especially as more and more people use solid sheets to make shapes and increase the overall aesthetics of the project. Therefore, cutting PC solid sheets has become an important task.

The standard for general solid sheet is fixed, between 1.22m-2.1m, but it is possible that such dimensions do not meet the actual application requirements, in which case the endurance plate needs to be cut open. If it is directly cut in the solid sheets production workshop, professional tools such as circular saws, hand saws, bows, etc. can be used.

In contrast, circular saws with fine toothed saw blades are more commonly used because they can accurately grasp the scale and be used more quickly. Pay attention to sawdust when cutting, as the solid sheet does not have anti-static function. Therefore, when sawdust is emitted into the air, it will adhere to the solid sheets, making it difficult to tidy up the cut solid sheets.

When cutting, attention should be paid to sawdust, which will be emitted into the air during cutting. When cutting, the PC solid sheet (not anti-static) will attach sawdust to the PC solid sheets, making cleaning very difficult. So when cutting, dry compressed air needs to be used to blow out the grooves. It can reduce the emission of sawdust into the air and has the function of cleaning the PC solid sheets, making the cut PC solid sheets clean and tidy.

When using a manual or motorized bow saw, the solid sheets should be clamped onto the workbench to avoid any unwanted vibrations. To avoid scratching the surface, do not remove the protective film. After completion, there should be no grooves or debris on the edges of the PC solid sheets. This method is often used at construction sites and is the most convenient and simple cutting method without large cutting machines.

When cutting open, be careful not to let the endurance plate come into contact with chemical solvents. If it does, immediately wipe it clean with a soft cloth dipped in alcohol, otherwise cracking may occur. If there is dust on the surface of the solid sheet, it should be washed clean first and then wiped dry with a cloth; In addition, do not place the solid sheet on wet cement ground for a long time to avoid contact with liquids such as acid and alkali.

The cutting method of PC solid sheets should be determined according to different situations, but the following points should be noted:

1. If chemical solvents come into contact during cutting, use a soft cloth dipped in alcohol to wipe the sheets, otherwise it may cause cracking of the sheet.

2. If there is dust on the surface of the sheet during cutting, it should be wiped clean before cutting.

3. Do not tear off the protective film on the surface of the solid sheets during cutting to avoid scratching the surface of the sheet during the cutting process.

4. The cut sheet should be placed in a ventilated and cool room, and should not be exposed to direct sunlight.

5. When cutting in the workshop, attention should be paid to sawdust. If the cutting process is not careful, it will be very difficult to clean it after cutting.

6. When cutting on the construction site, the solid sheets should be fixed and clamped on the table to avoid vibration during cutting.

Cutting PC solid sheet is not that simple. When cutting solid sheets, it is important to avoid contact between acidic and alkaline liquids, otherwise the sheets will corrode and affect its use.
